What a great place, far more down to earth than you would perceive. The ability to engage with the curators who are both engaging and very knowledgeable and also to see and handle some fine pieces is a real joy. Food was excellent, as was...More

The small discreet entrance on New Bond Street hides the size of Sotheby's with its many gallery spaces over two floors connecting through to adjacent streets. This enables it to hold several different previews of its auctions at once, in a variety of different ways....More

Wonderful to be able to walk in and look at amazing items that are coming up for sale. The restaurant is excellent. We had a superb afternoon tea but they also have breakfast, lunch and tea menus.

Some great previews of private auctions. The Bowie/Collector sale viewings were justifiably busy - but not with the usual tourist traffic. Small cafe/restuarant serving lunches/tea. Not always as busy as this November. Popular with ladies of a certain age.
