The London Dungeon, one of the UK’s most iconic attractions, has reinvented itself now as a bigger, bolder and better attraction in the vast underground vaults of County Hall on the South Bank, next to the EDF Energy London Eye. The all new multi-million pound attraction will bring 1000 years of authentic London history to life with a unique mix of talented live actors performing in scarily funny shows, stunning special effects, edge of your seat surprises and two exciting thrill rides. Guests will embark on a journey through a dramatic London landscape going back ten centuries. They will be guided through ghastly plague-ridden streets, witness Guy Fawkes’ dramatic plot to blow up Parliament, travel back to Jack the Ripper’s bleak Whitechapel and walk beneath London’s foreboding medieval gates. There are new shows and rides which are more dramatic and surprising than ever, new funnier scripts, more theatrical costumes and styling and more talented actors to play even more colourful villains and blaggards.

We normally visit once a year and they keep making some changes so there's always something new to surprise you. Book in advance if you want to guarantee entry and avoid the queues.

My wife and I, and our three teenage children (ages 16, 16, and 14), had a ton of fun at the London Dungeon. It is an interactive experience which is very well done. We were "part of the show." Very entertaining and historically educational too!

Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a
thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National
Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the
reasons that Southbank is such a collectively
cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly
activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized
river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo
Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and

There are two prices, I think either £15 or £20 depending on what you want. The £20 one is better value for money as you get quite a bit. They're cheaper than other attraction photographs I remember that because I bought... More

We took various bags in so I can't see a problem with a rucksack. We didn't get wet on the ride so you will be OK.
