We keep going back to our local Indian Restaurant because it's just so good. In fact, we think the food improves all the time. Staff so very helpful and friendly but not at all pushy.

With local help, we found "The Button Lady", who was delightful to chat with. We enjoyed cream cakes and tea on a rainy day. Just a nice break from the city..and it was via the metro.

If you are seeking fresh air and a bit of peace not far away from the city, this is the place. Great for a walk during a sunny day. The ice cream on the hill is a must.

Easily accessible Hampstead village is charming with plenty to do. A nice variety of interesting shops, lots of places to eat and drink and easy access to the Heath and all it contains. A really lovely part of London.

Although I live in London-south of the river, admittedly- it's years since I visited Hampstead Heath. So, I decided to rectify that on a sunny Saturday. The Heath is easily accessible- both by over ground and underground trains- and it doesn't take long to walk...More
