St Paul's is one of the prettiest churches in London. It's bigger namesake in the City of London takes all the glory but St Paul's in Deptford is a masterpiece of English sacral architecture. Luckily, it has been kept in good condition and stands proud over Deptford. The vicar is a bit of a character too.

A stunningly beautiful Baroque church not far from Greenwich and worth visiting if in the area. Do check the website as you may have to let them know when you are coming so that you can view the interior.
By the way, this is NOT ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL as almost all of the previous reviewers seem to think. It would be a good idea to remove the posted photos of that edifice or these erroneous postings are bound to continue!
And it couldn't look more different to that cathedral!!

This catholic church stands tall and proud in the heart of Deptford, the garden areas around the church and either side of the footpath (running from the high street to the duel carriageway) are always kept impeccable
Slightly off the path is an enclosed children's play area
I'm not Catholic so I don't attend this church but every time I see the reverend he is always cheerful and friendly

It's a beautiful 18th Century baroque church set in pleasant green churchyard gardens and not far from the centre of Greenwich.
Such a pity that people review here the cathedral of the same name in the City of London.
If you plan to visit it is best to check first (website at top of this page) as it isn't always open.
Interesting for those who like churches or otherwise for the more intrepid tourist.
Whenever I am in the Greenwich area I try to visit this place.

Fantastic attraction. A must see on any London visit to admire the architecture.
Accessible throughout much of the church for all wheelchair types.

St Paul's Church is worth visiting if you are in Deptford.
It is close to the station on the high street.

Half the reviews listed here are for St Paul’s Cathedral and/or other churches in downtown London. This stunning church is located out in Greenwich and was a different style all together. This church reminded me more of a government building than a church. It is surrounded by gardens and appears to be a popular spot to sit awhile.

I lived in London for a year and every time I'd look up and see St. Paul's, my breath would be momentarily taken away. So grand and beautiful. One of my favorite experiences was paying to climb to the very very top. There's no elevator and the staircase seemed to go on forever so you have to be in pretty good shape but what a spectacular experience! So much history. I spent 3-4 hours going through and reading each historical sign learning as much as I could. As touristy as it may be, it's really a unique gem in London.

Architecturally this is an amazing church to see. You can walk the entire outside and see the scope of the building. We did not go inside for the tour but I hear that is great as well
