Call this The Whitman sampler of tour companies. You get to the destination you basically walk around the locale for an hour to and hour and a half and you leave! Nice coaches and knowledgeable guides. The one bad thing is, they don't tell you they will not drop you off back where they picked you up! Your stranded at... More

David was an excellent tour guide who was funny, accommodating and thorough throughout the entire day. Our driver was Mark, and he drove well for the whole day taking us from place to place, it was a long day, so props to him! This is a great way to see as much of the English countryside as you can in... More

My friend (who had never been to England before) and I used Evan Evans Tours to explore Windsor Castle and Hampton Court. Our guide William was extremely knowledgable about all things English (politics, history, culture, etc.) and was simply charming to spend the day with. If you especially want to learn about the Crusades or Medieval England (or are just... More

This was a great way to see 3 5 star attractions in one day with ease. The pickup point at Victoria Coach Station was easily accessible by tube and there is a counter in the station tor direction. The tour guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The chapel at Windsor was closed (it was Sunday and... More

The tour was great and really well organised. There is so much to see in one day and the guide and driver do their best to ensure maximum time at each location. A critique is that there really isn't enough time to fully explore Windsor Castle, however in saying that it is a long day out, we returned at 7pm,... More

This was a really great trip and I highly recommend it. I would have liked to have more time to tour both Windsor Castle and the Roman baths in Bath. In both places, if you listened to the audio guide fully, you would be late to the bus. All three locations were fabulous and our guide was a hoot! It's... More

We did the Warwick Castle, Stratford, Oxford Tour. We had a wonderful guide -- Rita! She pointed out so many things even as we were stuck in traffic leaving London. We didn't have to stand in any lines at any location, but we had about 1 hour and 20 mins at each location. Rita even went to each person on... More

We visited Stonehenge and Bath this week with Rowan and her driver, Tom. We were picked up at nearby hotel and transfered to our tour bus at Victoria Coach station. It was simple to book our tour online with Patrick in the US. All questions were answered by Patrick completely. Stonehenge was amazing to finally see. Bath is a beautiful... More

Visiting Stonehenge and Bath was incredible. We definitely recommend that you fit this trip in while you are visiting the United Kingdom. Our tour guide, Rowan, was very knowledgeable and personable. You could tell that she knew a lot and was passionate about the ancient and modern histories of both sites. She was extremely helpful in deciding what to do... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
