Took a month's membership to try out the fitness classes - great app that you can use to view and book any of the next week's classes. A good variety of cardio, fitness, conditioning classes with good enthusiastic trainers. So far they run on time and for the full time - no short cuts. Good work outs and good facilities.... More

I visit once a week as part of my recuperation but I am in the process of looking for an alternative. There are two reasons for this. 1 the terrible service by the front desk staff. There are either lots of them talking and ignoring customers or so few there is a queue out of the door. I have never... More

Had a revamp but still filthy!! The changing rooms are horrid. Had a dirty nappy on the floor! Pools are ok and the gym is ok. Just think it's not a cheap place anymore so you should expect more. Reception staff are friendly though.

My grandchildren wanted to go swimming at one of the few pools with a flume in London so off we went. As you drive past the leisure centre, take the next turning and there is a fair sized car park, cost £1 per hour. Entrance for an adult and 2 children was £12.60 and we were warned beforehand that the... More

I came here with my wife and sons. We paid £14.70 for swimming for all of us. My 3 month old was not charged. We are non members to the centre. The staff were polite enough. There were large family changing rooms. The swimming pools are really good. Massive snake slide for kids and adults. Swimming pool with waves. Kids... More

Myself and a friend took three children to the swimming pool yesterday and it was the worst swimming experience we've ever had. It was chaotic to say the least. The music was blaring out of a very bad sound system making it hard to even have a conversation and it made it impossible for our children to hear us if... More

Visited today with my 2 year old daughter and her father. We had been here once before and it seemed to be OK then. However, today we arrive and the changing rooms were packed (which is fine) but they were filthy. The floor was slimey, with hair and god knows what other substances other than water. The cubicle again was... More

I go for a swim at Waterfront Leisure Centre most days. The evenings are good for a quiet swim, and the staff are helpful. It is a bit tired around the edges, but they make an effort to maintain it. I believe there are plans to knock it down, and move it in a few years time, so make the... More
