Just visited the museum. The museum itself was great, lots of very interesting artefacts attractively displayed, attentive staff who were very informative. Not so the restaurant. There was very little food on display, it was of poor quality and too expensive. The staff were indifferent...More

Use to be a favourite of mine. All it seems to focus on is gimmicks. Staff might as well have not be there. One on entry I could not understand. Cafe ok but be wary of soft sofas and bashing your head on the rail....More

Well laid out, kid friendly, actually good for all ages. Tells the story well and doesn't avoid the difficult bits. Good café. Well worth spending 2-3 hours

(Sigh) I miss the old NAM London. Room after room of memorabilia, artifacts, dioramas and activities devoted to the British Army. The new facility is basically a café with a superficial military theme. Better names would be Planet Aldershot or Tom-E-Cheez's. There are some bright...More

Used to visit a lot and found the original building full of atmosphere, however first time since rebuild and sad to say it is very poor. The displays all seem very PC and follow the theme of the current tv advertisements. Plenty of gimmicks but...More

I was quite excited about going to this museum, as it has recently been revamped, but I came away feeling disappointed. The staff member greeted us politely and introduced us to another staff member who explained that the museum had been reorganized so that things...More

I took a younger relative here who has an interest in the military. It isn’t my interest at all. However ! We all really enjoyed this museum. It was really well presented , some good interactive bits (including being able to dress up in traditional...More

A great museum if you're interested in the military, the British Army, or the World Wars. Displays are well presented. The themed rooms enabled selective viewing. Easy to reach on the number 70 bus from Victoria.

The last time I visited this museum was approximately 37 years ago with my school. At the time I thought to myself, snooooooorrre, but hey, I was a teenager and it was a school trip. Moving on to my ancient current age, but I was...More

Just visited the museum. It's a modern up to date museum with lots to see . It's not the imperial war museum as a much smaller venue but still there are lots of interesting things to see and do. I did find it informative and...More

Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's
upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops,
eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at
its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely
unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this
showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price
tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down
pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal

Hi, I started taking my grandson at age 5, your boy sounds just like my grandson who never stops to read the signs! There’s a huge display of army vehicles in the grounds too and I’d say definitely worth an hour’s trip. We... More
