The North bank of the Thames from Blackfriars to Westminster bridges. Speckled with impressive and iconic buildings, statues to commemorate historic people and events as well as small parks with beautiful flower beds, borders and benches to rest and soak it all in.

As regular visitors from Australia, we like nothing more than a gentle stroll along the Thames. The Victoria Embankment stretch is probably the most interesting, with a collection of statues and monuments on the river's edge, the London Eye on the other side, and approaching...More

The embankment stretches from Westminster Bridge to Blackfriars. It is a lovely afternoon's walk. Whilst it can get busy it is broad enough that it never feels crowded. You get spectacular views of the river and the bridges and the hum of the traffic orchestrates...More

This is one of my favourite places in London with so many local attractions and all the various monuments, etc. to see as you walk along it. Cleopatra's needle, Buckingham gate, the gardens, and a great view of the Thames too. Just brilliant.

The Embankment runs between the Palace of Westminster and Blackfriars Bridge along the River Thames. It is a very nice area for a stroll with lovely views. It's especially lovely at night when the attractions are all lighted up.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
