The area
Neighbourhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

Worst experience I ever had, the hostess lady who was blonde hair denied entry on my friends 22nd birthday for no what ever reason perhaps maybe being a bit racist or my friend wearing chinos which was very disappointing. My friend who plays for Chelsea FC ex Leicester FC player Ben chillwell was denied entry and it’s going through the FA, very disappointed like I said it was meant to be a special occasion that went very bad. Would deffo not recommend

We would always walk along this street to get to Shaftsbury avenue and really would not take any notice.it spans from Oxford Street to the Leicester Square area and is surprising just how many places to eat and drink are dotted all along Wardour Street. We recently passed a few bars in the evening, one was hosting a stand up comedy evening whilst another had a live band on.As i mentioned on my review of Soho a few years ago,we barely saw any sleaziness anywhere whilst in this area.Good shops and plenty of places to eat too.Visited Sept 2016.

Wardour Street is just off Oxford Street and will lead you into the heart of Soho.

There are some trendy cafes and restaurants as well as a couple of shops too.

I would not consider it a must see location but it's a nice walk off the beaten track if you want to see a different part of London.

All kinds of cuisines, desserts, gelato, pubs, cafes, and liquor shops, etc. are on Wardour Street. Fun part is window gazing, find something interesting, and just pop in.

Went for the jukebox brunch, had amazing service from Dan E, couldn’t fault him, our glasses were kept topped up for the whole 2 hours. Would recommend for the service.

Once upon a time this Soho street was the home of all manner of businesses working in the film industry, especially post-production studios. The clue was in the names of many of the buildings, like Cinema House or Screen House. Much of that has gone as screen editing is increasingly done remotely via the Internet. Instead there are now more and more independent restaurants and bars, plus some speciality retailers like chocolatier, Paul A Young at No 143 and the Hummingbird Bakery at No 155a. But it remains an interesting and vibrant place to visit.
