Iconic St Katharine Docks is Central London's only marina and has evolved...

Iconic St Katharine Docks is Central London's only marina and has evolved into a thriving waterside community featuring modern and unusual office space, luxury homes and quayside dining and shopping. A stone's throw from the Tower of London, the site has a fascinating history. Opening in 1828, the Thomas Telford-designed dock was once one of the busiest ports in the UK, renowned for handling luxury goods, sugar, rum, spices, perfumes, wines and tea. Today, St Katharine Docks is home to a range of leading companies and brands including tech incubator Rainmaking Loft, Tom's Kitchen, CAU, Bravas Tapas and artisan coffee shop White Mulberries. Every Friday, the Docks hosts the popular World Food Market, serving some of the capital's best street food.

It's really nice down here. There is a few good pub/restaurants to sit and relax outside at on a sunny day and look at the boats.

Well worth coming off Tower Bridge and dropping into this historic dock once a commercial dock but now full of restaurants, coffee bars, and sailing boats of all descriptions. The Queens barge Gloriana is moored here and it makes a good photographic opportunity.

Has a pleasant stroll round here on an evening in April and it was busy. Nice choice of bars and restaurants and good view of the marina and the boats I would imagine that in the summer this place is full so go early to get a good outside seat!

Great views with boats to see, eateries and coffee shops to pop into and jetty walkways to walk. Good ambience and a nice little walk through there.

I used to live in Wapping and walked through "St Kitts" to get to/from work, I love this place as it has great memories for me. It has been done up in recent years with more bars and restaurants and gets very busy in the evenings with City workers. We love taking our visitors here, despite being next to Tower... More
