I went to see T2 Trainspotting and this was my first visit to this cinema. I felt the reception areas were starting to look a little bit tired and could do with a bit of a spruce up. We were in a small screen but the seats were very comfortable and sound excellent. The only issue in the screening room... More

Tonight we saw The Great Wall here ,there are nice friendly staff comfortable seats and plenty of food and drink options available . It's also in the process of being taken over by Cineworld so waiting to see if there will be any changes .

We choose the IMAX here in early 2016 to watch Star Wars The Force Awakens and the screen and movie was spectacular! Best to take your own food e.g popcorn and certainly M&Ms from next door because their selection and quality isn't that great. But despite this we were there for Star Wars and had a brilliant experience. Tickets were... More

Movie great, staff fab, policy around when you turn off you coffee machine naf. I'm a customer and pay to get access to food and drink as well as movie. Your loss I bought nothing as your machine was off apparently it switched off before the last showing runs. My movie was 21:30. It was off when I came in.... More

We went to the Empire in Sutton, South London last night and definitely will never return. If you go, stick to the main ones like Leicester Sq which are bound to be better looked after than this run down and uncomfortable dump. For starters no staff to take tickets, we walked right in but could have easily got away with... More

I had no problem with purchasing the tickets via online web. It was a breeze buying them. We got seat H28,29 and watching the film was okay but maybe further back would make a perfect viewing with 3D glass. The 3D glass quality could be better so if you want to really get into it, bring your own. Overall, the... More

My friends and I were really excited to see the latest Star Wars Rogue One... our viewing was spoiled by people literally having 3 meals course. The man behind us started with a hot dog moving on to a giant bucket of pop corn and finishing with a whole bag of sweets. We were surrounded by the smell of people's... More

What a poor excuse for a cinema. Screen 9 is only 4 rows and from the side seats where we were you get a blurred view at best. The back row D has a bearable view but there is very little legroom. Queues for drinks etc were over 20 minutes with staff obviously oblivious to the waiting times. Avoid this... More

A long time ago in a galaxy rather similar to this one I saw the original Star Wars movie in this cinema. Kind of a big deal. Fast forward nearly 40 years and I take my son to watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. 3D and IMAX to boot. The seats were comfy and the 3D imagery the... More

I've visited before, but never been in screen 9, I shan't be going to screen 9 again, it didn't matter where you say in there you were on top of the screen, luckily I didn't pay anymore than usual subscription to my cineworld unlimited pass otherwise I'd be demanding my money back, I've often wondered how cinemas that have a... Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
