I had a great day because I saw my team beat Charlton. When I went to get some food, they only hot food they had was a choice of 3 pies - all weird flavors that youngsters and children may not like. There was no choice of anything normal like chips or even a plain burger.

Great Club, Great Ground. Love "The Valley" football ground. Annoying owners of the club though. Support "CARD".

Been to Charlton for about 800 football matches. Once the biggest ground in England apart from Wembley, it is now a tidy compact stadium that hold about 27,000. Traditionally a very friendly club with much engagement with the fan base and possibly the best community sport scheme anywhere in Britain. What can I say about the state of Charlton in... More

It's hard to know where to start when describing the continuing calamity that is the current ownership and management of a once great comunity club. Charlton Athletic was never the most successful or glamorous club, but what made it special was the feeling that the owners, directors, management and supporters were all on the same side. Many of the players were... More

Sad to see a club that was held up as a role model of a successful community club descending in to chaos under an incompetent Belgian ownership and management.

Really enjoyed my experience visiting The Valley for the first time, it is not as modern as some stadiums. The toilets and refreshment areas are also not modern, but for me this adds to the character. You have good views of the pitch from the away end. The stadium also has a decent atmosphere, if you have never visited I... More

No trip to London is complete without a trip to the football. We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Charltons home ground . Catch the train to Charlton station and walk about 5 mins from there tickets available at the gate

100 of us travelled up the Thames from Westminster to o2 on a boat, then a bus and walk via 3-4 pubs. The ground is massive compared to what is Northampton fans are used to ! However, the local fans could not be heard , only us 1300 away fans which didn't help the banter or atmosphere. Not many directions... More

Good little club for all to got too. Whether you are on your own or with friends or with family always have a fun day out. And shouted tends to be cheaper than the other football clubs. Complaint that I do that it could be a little bit better for facilities and access for away fans.

Thank James B
