Lying in the shadow of the Palace of Westminster, these Gardens and the River Thames beyond, provide a relaxing oasis. There are many features to explore including Auguste Rodin's sculpture "The Burghers of Calais"; the Buxton Memorial Fountain; and the Emmeline Pankhurst statue.

A statue of Emmeline Pankhurst stands at the entrance. This park is a little oasis of green in the busy area near the Houses of Parliament but can get rather crowded with tourists.

A lovely piece of green space between Millbank and Parliament Square alongside the River Thames. popular with runners, it has a children's park and several statures/monuments.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
