Enjoyed the performance of Les Miserables in London. The cast had wonderful, powerful voices and performances were great. The staff at the theatre were very pleasant and helpful too. Very happy and smiling. We had seats in the stalls at the back and it did say restricted views at times. This actually wasn't an issue at all as most of... More

This is a wonderful musical. The theatre itself is very impressive and the way they use the scene was incredible.

Les Mis has been on my "Theatre Bucket List" for many years. Seeing the world's longest running musical on London's West End was a dream come true. Queen's Theatre itself is impressive. So much so that I felt the need to review it separately. My experience was sweetened by having the best seat in the house (Dress Circle - A23).... More

I'm not one for repeated visits to shows, but Les Miserables has had a continuous run for over 30 years and it's no fluke. The timeless story of redemption is told on a grand scale, with the scenery transporting you through the decades. Few musicals present such a range of melodies - each a deserved hit in their own right;... More

Saw the show in its original version in Paris in the early 80's and again 2 days ago in London. Obviously very different location and spectacle. The orchestra under the stage was amazing; there were 2 negative points for me: I didn't like the singing and voice of the woman who portrays Cosette. But that's personal taste. What was disappointing... More

I am a huge fan of les mis. And for my 18th birthday I got to see it live in the queen's theater. I expected a lot and it was even better! Great vocals, great scenery, just amazing. For all the people who love musicals, must see it! It's defintely worth the money!

If you only go to see one musical in your life, make it this one. My 4th time and I was still blown away by this incredible show. The music and the singing is simply awesome. The most emotional experience. You'll laugh you'll cry but you'll not regret going to see this outstanding epic musical....and yes, I will be going... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
