My Mum organised the course as a 65th birthday present for my Dad and it was a perfect day of family fun. We met on Portobello Road in the morning for a cheese and wine tasting before heading back to Charlotte and Claire's beautiful kitchen for the main event. We had agreed in advance the 6 courses to prepare, but... More

This is a lovely day out - the class starts with a tour of Portobello Market and some of the local food shops, where Charlotte and Claire give tips on how to choose all kinds of food (and participants get a chance to input into the day's menu!). The cooking itself takes place in their beautiful home, and the class... More

My wife bought this Saturday full day cooking course for a present and we had a fabulous day. Met Charlotte and Claire at Ladbroke Grove tube station with 6 others then had a walk around Portobello Market buying fish, meat, bread and vegetables then we went back to their house and cooked 10 different dishes. Everyone was really nice with... More

My partner and I had a fantastic day. The first hour was spent learning about sourcing the best seasonal ingredients in Portobello and then back to their lovely kitchen to cook so many dishes! I learnt new techniques and ingredients and will definitely be putting them to use. The prosecco and wine flowed all day and it was a lovely... More

Highly recommend this cooking experience, very friendly relaxed atmosphere, met some lovely people, and of course cooked some gorgeous food. The walk round Portabello market was excellent, we were given advice on how to meat, fish and vegetables. There was also plenty of prosecco and wine, never had an empty glass!!

What a fantastic day on this course. Everything about it was first class and fun. Claire was a charming host and excellent cook. Buying the food was extremely interesting but can i beg Claire to walk just a little slower, please? The food was simple yet exactly the sort of thing we all actually could cook at home. There were... More

Great relaxed and informative hospitality from charlotte and Claire, fun shopping for ingredients, fine wine, terrific range of traditional dishes, fabulous 'home' kitchen/dining facility. What's not to like! Made for a first rate family birthday party.

We did the private cooking class with Charlotte and it was fantastic. The food was delicious - classics and modern cooking, the prosecco and wine were great. The products used are the best quality, local or from Italy. Charlotte is a great host, chatty, interesting and a super teacher. If you love food, cooking, or eating - this is a... More
