We attended an event at excel so were able to travel at a reduced rate. Was brilliant. Everyone was so helpful. We went at sunset - beautiful views. Make sure you go in the visitors centre on the O2 side. It has replic aircraft for kids to go in.

Just another cable car ride. Definitely fun but not worth the price. I preferred the museum at the other end of the cable car journey. Wouldn't really recommend it, do something better with your time and money.

At the low cost of £3.50, this ride with a view over Canary Wharf and the O2 Arena is so worth taking! I included this attraction to my day at Greenwich. I took the Thames Clippers boat from London Eye Pier, got off at North Greenwich and the cable car is within a very short walking distance. Hardly any waiting,... More

Cost family of 3 £18 return and for a sunset view of the city, the Thames, we loved it. It was quiet so we had our own cable car. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Emirates airline is from the docklands to the o2 arena and has many different views you can look at. It goes over the river thames and it not take long to cross. It is very easy to get to by bus or tube. Getting on at royal docklands we had no problems and found it quick and easy then from... More

This is the best way to get from the Docklands to the O2 arena, without doubt. It's not the cheapest, but if staying near the Excel, it's the easiest. Takes around 10 minutes, and gives spectacular views of Canary Wharf.

This attraction can be used as part of the oyster card system and takes just under ten minutes to travel from the Dockland over to North Greenwich. The views are fantastic and the ride is so smooth. Even if you think that you'd be afraid of heights this is for you as it's more like being in an aircraft than... More

Can't believe how easy this experience was! Cheap enough tickest you can buy on Oyster card and just £2.30 for children. No queues so you can walk on and no time to panic. The climb up is so gentle, no swaying. I had my eyes open the whole time and managed to enjoy the views. I have done cable cars... More

Great value for money. Looked at going on the London Eye but it was so expensive for a family, this was a brilliant alternative. Great views, no queues even in the middle of the Summer holidays. Even impressed our hard to please teens! Adult price £3.50 and children £1.70 for a single trip.
