Colorful and lively

Colorful and lively redeveloped wharf, full of little shops and small restaurants, with nice atmosphere. It is a nice place to stroll around and grab a quick lunch.

The place has an amazing view of London. Great food all around. It's a good place to walk and also run, if you're into it.

"Worse than the total agony of being in love?" One of the stops on my self assembled cinematic tour of London was this spot from Love Actually, where Liam Neeson confronts his young son, (Sam) about what's been troubling him. On a blue bench, in front of a restaurant, it's one of my favorite modern Christmas films & an easy... More

We had been to an episode of "Loose Women" in the ITV studios next door and fancied something to eat afterwards. This nice little area was a very short walk from the studios. We checked out the shops and the various eating places on offer. Studio 6, just by the entrance seemed a good choice. The service was good and... More

We enjoyed having a late lunch at Gabriel's warf. There was several shops and three or four restaurants to choose from. There was a very small beach area where someone had built a sand castle. Highly recommend.

This is a great little place to unwind, near the attractions on the south side of the Thames but just a bit off the beaten track. Great little shops and places to eat.

Went for a dinner a couple of times with my friends. The food is good and you can see Thames and St Paul Cathedral from the terrace. Not one of my favourite places in London but I wouldn't say no to another dinner/lunch there.

Lovely time strolling through the wharf, browsing through the shops and stopping for a refreshing drink before continuing our stroll down the busy and bustling South Bank

This are is filled with local vendors and restaurants. We stopped by here during our river walk and enjoyed the shops and had a beer in the cute central area. This place is pretty and is relaxing. Would recommend if you are in the area and need a break from walking.

Thank stepusin

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
