Worth a trip or combine with a visit to Tate modern. Check and see what is on, we saw a very good exhibition of watercolours. Good selection of books on sale

I have to own up to being biased about this lovely gallery situated next to Tate Modern. I had a painting selected to be in their exhibition and so went along to the Private View. The gallery is airy and spacious and all the works...More

It is free entry and had a rather interesting contemporary paintings and prints exhibition. It has beautiful curation. IMHO it definitely worth a visit.

We always make a point to stop in at the Bankside Gallery when we travel to London. There is no admission charge and they always have a very interesting exhibit of watercolor art... most of it can be purchased.

I have been to the Tate Modern many times and on this visit I spent some time exploring its surroundings and found Bankside. It is free entry and had a really interesting modern art exhibition. It also has a very nice shop selling all sorts...More
