Great little cute bookshop

It's a pretty small bookshop, true, but there are still many books and curious souvenirs. Staff are helpful and friendly.

We found ourselves there after watching the movie Pride, and thought the bookstore was a small cozy store with a wide selection of really great books (as well as books about Orange is the New Black, for fans). The man behind the table was very engaging & nice and we chatted with him for a few minutes. There are t-shirts,... More

Very easy walk from the Russell Square tube station, with lots of good choices for eating nearby. I bought a book the day I arrived in London, and went back for a reading that I very much wanted to see the next day. The space is cozy and the owner is welcoming. This store is a gem of queer culture.

Unpretentious and comprehensive LGBT book shop, selling everything from LGBT textbooks to queer pulp fiction and everything in between. Fiction section is particularly extensive, and the shop also carries queer cinema DVDs which can be hard to find elsewhere. The owner is very friendly and polite- always makes time to talk to you or offer recommendations. Worth a visit for... More

Not suffering from its rising fame, this little place is unpretentious, staff are friendly, helpful, a variety of books/magazines somewhere on the gay spectrum, great second-hand, biography and 'serious' study sections as well as a the whole array of gay fiction.

The most amazing range of LGBT literature in England. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Me and my girlfriend visted and spent 20minutes browsing, sitting on the floor reading blurbs. Give this local legend a visit! Great for couples, solos and friends.

The shop was an absolute delight with books and second hand books from every genre, magazines, queer studies etc. I could browse for hours. The shopkeeper was very friendly and helpful as well. Wish there were more stores like this all around the world. Keep it up, GTW!

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
