I've seen a bad review of the farringdon bed from Laura Ashley. I would agree totally. It was terrible. The reviewer said their bed was noisy. yep. also the middle leg was rubbish. It tended to grip to the wooden floor so didn't move with the bed- as a result it was often at an angle and not supporting the... More

I have always perceived Laura Ashley as an brand that represented good quality & excellent customer service. I have been proved wrong on both counts. We recently bought our first home and refurbished the kitchen. Our finishing touch was Laura Ashley wicker floor tiles purchased via Tons of Tiles. Dispite over ordering by a square metre to be on the... More

We bought a duvet cover and pillow cases and after one wash the duvet cover had a big tear on the seams . Customer service would not accept detailed photographic evidence and insisted that they would do nothing until we sent it to them for inspection . Apart from being very inconvenient , they would not pay for the postage... More

Avoid buying expensive substandard wall paper from this company!! Customer service is horrendous, they have refused to rectify the damaged wall paper, shame as over the years we were huge fans won't be returning and advise everyone else to stay away!!

I ordered two beautiful off white velvet chenille sofas in the sale- When they arrived I instantly noticed long deep indentations in the material of the seat cushions as though something had been pressing against the material it looked awful. The first night I sat on one of the sofas I thought it seems very hard and after about half... More

Awful, the worst customer service ever, will never even spend a penny there. the online shopping was a nightmare, as well as spending hours on the phone trying to fix my order, with the worst employees.

I ordered a wardrobe with LA online (to match with my beautiful LA bureau) and they were due to deliver it last Monday. The delivery men came and said that there was no space to park so they couldn't deliver it as they had a very big van. Fair enough. However, LA just called and said that I would have... More

My sofa was broken within the warranty with a broken frame. Their technician said that the problem was wear and tear in the springs. I have had to call out an independent sofa expert, who actually found the frame to be broken and I paid to repair it. Rather than do the right thing, Laura Ashley have forced me to... More

Oh how I wish I had checked TripAdvisor before filling two rooms with thousands of pounds of Laura Ashley furnishings! The fact that 34 of 37 reviews are 'terrible' speaks volumes about this horrible, horrible company! Taken over in 1998 by MUI Asia Ltd, owned by Malaysian billionaire Dr Khoo Kay Peng, this outfit (Laura Ashley Holdings plc) sells what... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
