Great flavoured cheese and a huge variety, always something new to test. Beautiful packaging and helpful staff. There's also a good section at the back with plates, bags and gifts.

The shop not only sells a wide range of cheeses but also sandwiches/rolls. I purchased a wonderful roll today, full of flavour, fresh. Very good value. And the service was very good, a smile and a short conversation. One negative - the street outside is...More

I am a cheese lover but generally don't eat it as it doesn't agree with me. However an exception is when I visit my sister and we visit Paxton and Whitfield for their speciality cheeses for an annual binge. They have an outstanding selection of...More

This is the best cheese shop I have ever visited. Amazingly educated staff and choice. We picked our selection and it was shipped back home two days later. Brilliant service and a connection we are so pleased we made.

Simply a classic cheese shop that's been around forever. If you need anything to do with cheese or want advice, accompaniments, or better yet...actual cheese, you'll find what you need here. One of my top two cheesemongers in London.

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the
establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during
a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing
