Came here last night to see in the New Year and really enjoyed ourselves. Friendly staff, great drinks selection and great (mostly Motown) soundtrack to the night.

The staff are mostly great. It’s a lovely old boozer (traditional) and they’ve retained the best of it since taking it over (and improving it). I like the food....I’d go for the pie. Every pie I’ve had is banging. They do some fantastic two-person sharing...More

Great (big) pub, with good relaxed buzz. Good food, with two veggie roast options on a Sunday, which makes a nice change. Live Jazz at lunchtime too. What's not to like?

Lively, busy pub. Great food; we had Sunday lunch - 2 courses, classic prawn cocktail 😁 Followed by the pork; lovely veggies, roast pots & a Yorkshire pudding, yum. Loved the atmosphere & enjoyed the live jazz from 2pm. The staff were very welcoming, thank...More

Me and my boyfriend arrived here as soon as they opened, at 12:00, and enjoyed a super tasty lunch served with a London brewed beer. Not that expensive and quite fast service! Also wheelchair accesible!

Sunday night and hungry and getting late but they magicked-up for roast dinners for us even though the kitchen was about to close at 8. The pork was very crunchy and nice, the chicken superlative and might have served three and the lamb a tad...More

Popped for a couple of drinks on a Monday night. The pub is huge, with various nooks and crannies with different moods. There's both a dartboard and pool table in the front bar and construction on a decked outside area was underway. Good beers, including...More

Had Sunday lunch here. Pork was lovely however the vegetarian option was poor. Only one option, very expensive and tiny portion. Staff hit and miss. Some very nice others couldnt be bothered. Best bit was the jazz!
