    Inrteresting and nice Pub
The Gladstone Arms is a cute and tiny pub closer to Southwark and it is a small gem among the vastity of pubs in London. A good gem. It proposes interesting beers on tap and an interesting menu with an indian touch and all dishes come as either small - for a person whom is not very hungry - or large if you want to share the meal with some friends. I was there with 3 friends and we took 1 large Avocado Papri Chaat and 1 Veggie Sliders and they were enough. A huge PLUS and a great surprise it is the live music! Thursday, Saturday and Sunday there is live music with several bands or singers. The place is a real treat and the staff and owners were very friendly too.
Thanks for your review. Hopefully, we re-open soon and you can re-visit us! Megha

    An utter delight!
Surely this will now be one of my regular haunts in the area?! (Working around here I’ve been to them all!) Service was just blinding, like I genuinely can’t remember the last time I received service like that. From the owner to the chef. Quirky and good selection of drinks. Food was yummy, only had nibbles but will report back on more as will definitely be returning for mains etc. Cute little rooftop patio place for a couple of tables, and peaceful there too! Just had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon here and couldn’t get over how much they went out of their way so you can carry on, enjoy and have fun. Top top banana.

Great food but overpriced soft drinks
A lovely local rustic pub with very tasty food but ordered a soft drink which was a rip off!! It was literally less than 1/4 small glass of drink. Very disappointed that there are still some pubs who charge extortionate prices for a stingy 1/4 glass of drink. I recommend the food but not the non-alcoholic drinks.

What a great find. A small quirky pub just off Borough Road. I think it only seats about 20. When there for a birthday treat from my son, and it was well worth the trip. Serving Anglo/Indian food I had a terrific Chicken Kara-age and chips with a pint of Guinness and a free shot (it was St Patrick's Day). They also do Curry Pies and Lamb Chops. Great atmosphere and very attentive service. Well worth the trip!

This was the second time we’d visited The Gladstone, the first was just for a quick pint but we were impressed enough to make a date to come back, I’m glad we did. The pub has got a friendly vibe, it’s very well run & staffed, a great selection of beers & the food is superb. This won’t be the last time we visit. Interested in their Anglo Indian Sunday roasts

…PLUS CURRY!!! I came here with some friends on 30th December and we stayed all night. The drink selection is very good, the food is utterly delicious (order as wide a range as you can so you can try as much as possible), the atmosphere was very friendly - the smoking area in particular is a great place to chat to new people -, they have darts (!!!) and they let us out our own music on upstairs. Absolutely great pub!

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our Son’s 21st. He thoroughly enjoyed his night.
Meg recommended the food for a buffet which was excellent. It was served hot and at the time of our choice. Big thanks to Meg for making the evening so easy to arrange

Amazing find and delicious Indian street food!
The staff were super friendly and helpful looking for a table for us when it was busy.

Found by accident, but now we will be back. 17 taps of amazing beers, plus super-cozy Sunday Indian-inspired roasts on Sunday. Also amazing plates menu available. Super secret gem. Friendly.stagg, highly recommended.

Don’t rely on the restaurant to honour your booking. We booked our table well in advance for our trip to London and received an automated email reply a few days before our arrival to say the Gladstone Arms had cancelled our reservation. No explanation as to why and our time slot is now showing as booked on their website! We are now left trying to find a Saturday evening booking elsewhere with most places fully booked. Thanks Gladstone!
