I love this place. Absolutely wonderful, great for a professional photo session and a nice cup of tea in the coffee shop.

Spent a lot of time in this area. Beautiful cobblestone street with a lot of history. Loads of restaurants and bars that are wall to wall with people in the summer and spilling out onto the pathways. Wonderful views of Tower Bridge and the city.

An area of London which is unique. The old Victorian age warehouses which stored all manner of goods in the old dock lands of London, restored and converted some 30 odd years ago in residential units, fascinating area to walk around. Equally similar is wapping...More

This is located on the south-end of the Tower Bridge as you can see it walking over the bridge along the east side. Converted from old warehouses, these are now shops and residences with restaurants facing the river. We would have come back to have...More

East of the Tower Bridge, you find this beautifully restored area. The former docks and industrial buildings are now posh apartments, small stores and cafes or nice restaurants. With the cobbled streets, the area kept its charm.

I think you're mistaking Shad Thames with the Shard. Duddell's (note the spelling difference), is located in 9a St Thomas Street. Which is near the Shard, but certainly not near Shad Thames. If you Google Duddell's, you... More
