I visited London recently with some friends and we thought this would be a great way of seeing most of the sights without taking hours and hours. Decided to do the red route as this seemed to cover most attractions. Really enjoyed the experience tour guide was very knowledgable and told us some interesting facts that we never knew before...special... More

We did the tour from London - Cotswold - Warwick castle - Oxford. The tour included a walk to Shakespeare's home. The tour guide was great. He was well read and kept reciting Shakespeare quotes. He was witty and kept us engaged thru the day. The tour starts from the London - Victoria station at 7.30-8 am and the drop... More

I booked a day tour through my hotel and it included driving through the Cotswolds, visiting Warwick Castle, Shakespear's home, and Oxford. We had the perfect amount of time to see each location and the guide was great! He told us all about the city of London as we were driving out to the country. He seemed very knowledgeable and... I've been living in the UK for a couple of years and recently went on a Golden Tour visiting Bath, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. The weather was great, and the bus rides weren't held up by traffic thanks to our great driver, but unfortunately I wasn't the slightest bit impressed by the tour guide. They're not so much a guide... More

First, Golden is the block directly south of Victoria Station on Buckingham Palace Rd. There are about 8 steps on the corner leading up to a little strip mall and the buses are down thru the middle of the block. There is no fountain at 4 Fountain. There is a Subway sandwich shop right there and we stopped and got... More

We did the Windsor-Stonehenge-Oxford tour and was great. Our guide was very friendly and helpful. It is the best option if you dont have much time and want to see different places in England; but not if you want to see each place thoroughly. we barely spent an hour in each place.

Box standard hop on hop off London tour bus. Our tour guide was very funny and informative. The bus departs from atop number 8 near the Victoria coach terminus, some 5 minute walk from the Victoria train station. The ticket vendor sold us a ticket for the London Eye saying that we do not have to queue up at the... More

Visiting Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath from London can be fun and quiet during a well organised day. The driver Armando and the guide Graham took well care in the preparations.

We enjoyed this tour very much. It was a bit hard to hear the guide when the bus was moving. But the Scenery was awesome. We bundled up, so did not get too cold. We would never have been able to see so much trying to do it on our own. Excellent way to see this beautiful city after dark.

Thank Kristina D

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
