First memorial I've seen like this, dedicated to the average joe and their selfless acts. Quiet little spot to sit and reflect. Loved reading the many tiles.

We read about Watts' Memorial through a guide book of "hidden" London sights, and we really enjoyed exploring the wall of plaques and reading about the acts of heroism by everyday citizens. The memorial is tucked away in Postman's Park and easy to walk by,...More

A monument fitted to the side of St Bartholomew's Hospital to remember the peasants revolt and the suffering both to those who gave their life and the problems of the time.

You don't need long to see this lovely place. Great if you wandering the sights to pop in, have a mini-picnic and a quiet sit down and contemplate the wonderful tiles reflecting those brace people hitherto unheralded. A little gem!

A beautiful, understated experience. The plaques comemorate acts of ordinary people's self sacrifice. Well worth a visit. Easy to find near the London Museum and free of cost. Take a sarnie, peruse the plaques and absorb the peace of this little gem.
