Hard to believe such precious Roman remains have been found under a normal building. So interesting and clearly presented by the tour guides who were full of information, and in a small group so it’s easy to see and hear everything. Well worth the visit.

The Roman bathhouse is very interesting - the guides were excellent - to think that such wonderful Roman remains are under the roads of London is great! The excavation of the bathhouse is fascinating. You could tie this in with visiting other Roman remains in...More

This place appears to have disappeared without trace... The relevant webpages have disappeared from the Museum of London website and the door was locked and no signage was visible anywhere when I tried to visit last week. No response from the Museum of London when...More

I was looking for a walking tour to fill in some time on a visit to London and then stumbled across this little gem. It is hidden under an ordinarily looking office block that I had previously walked past maybe a thousand times in the...More

Went here today as part of the London Open House Weekend. Hidden underneath a soul-less glass building, it truly is amazing. The volunteer explained, using a model, what the bath house would have looked like in Roman times. This made it easier to imagine what...More

I'm always looking for different experiences when we travel and this is such an affordable tour from the Museum of London for only £8 per person. So interesting to hear what they've figured out about this bathhouse and location and what they know they don't...More

We discovered that this site was open to the public by chance when searching for somewhere to visit. We bought out tickets online and collected them from the Museum of London. Although the staff there were very helpful and provided us with a map to...More
