On a beautiful day we went to Felbrigg Hall and had a lovely long walk around the grounds, which are open dawn to dusk with no entry fee. The grounds are extensive with several different walks to choose from, we did a circular walk through...More

An interesting place the house is showing a deterioration compared to my visit a few years ago. The grounds give ample scope for walks. The walled garden is well worth taking time to look at especially if you are interested in herbs. Overall it needs...More

Absolutely lovely grounds for a walk, very friendly and helpful staff and one of the more interesting properties in the NT portfolio. The woods are lovely in Autumn and there are several walks depending on how long you've got. The house itself has a lot...More

We were filling in an afternoon and would have liked to explore the expansive grounds but did not have time to do so. The hall itself is interesting and much lighter inside that Blickling Hall nearby.

We loved it here - the house has some lovely things in and is of a happily domestic scale. The volunteer staff we met were very well-informed and interesting to listen to and interested in us as well, very welcoming on what was a busy...More

We live near Norwich and often visit here. Love going round the house and the gardens are beautiful so are the woods. This year we finally made the walk to the lake. Our grandchildren love this place as much as we do.

This was not our first visit, the hall and estate have so much to offer. The Hall is welcoming, feeling homely and one almost expects to meet the owners in one of the rooms. The guides are helpful and knowledgeable, enhancing the experience. It was...More

This is a Jacobean country house with Georgian interior and despite its age feels homely and lived-in within an environment which includes impressive stained glass, grand staircases, paintings and wall hangings and set in extensive grounds… There is a walled garden now used to service...More
