Always pause as part of a stroll along the river, before or after visiting the cathedral and Edith Cavell memorial. This is a landmark on our riverbank.

Usually pictured from the river it can be better appreciated by walking through the Close, a bonus in itself, and approaching from the landward direction. The building can then be appreciated from both sides as can the river views.
