A nice way to see Norwich, without the traffic.

It was a lovely day, which helped but this was a great walk and a good picnic spot. It is also a good way to get across the city, avoiding the traffic.

A delightful walk around the town via the river, plenty of seats for a rest. Beautiful views of the cathedral

This was a sunny morning and we took this walk from our hotel St Giles House. The route to the river took us through nice quaint streets in Norwich to the River. The first short part of the walk is nothing special, but then it appears to come to a dead end, but keep going, cross the road and then... More

I love Norwich City and the beautiful, quiet riverside walk, taking in some historical places such as Cow Tower, The Great Hospital with its Swannery and Bishops Bridge. Lots of seating along the river so plenty of places to stop and rest. I love Pulls Ferry where there are lots of beautiful swans. On the way from Bishops Bridge to... More

On a glorious spring afternoon what could be nicer than a lovely stroll along the river. Such a pleasure with friends.

This walk took us past the cathedral and cricket pitch where a match was underway. There are plenty of seats to stop and take a rest while you watch life for by.

It is not too strenuous to take a few minutes strolling beside the river. Most relaxing, and affords some splendid views - notably across the cricket pitch towards Norwich Cathedral.

To be fair, we did not do the whole Riverside Walk. We only walked from the railway station bridge to the Bishop bridge, but we were massively disappointed. Yes the Bishop bridge is quaint and you get a nice view of the cathedral, but it lacked any atmosphere and was lined by modern houses that drained any notion of anything... More
