Perfect for biking or walking to get away from shopping or the business. It's not a very long walk but I would recommend it.

This walk takes you on a history trail through Norwich's past, and takes you close to some brand new areas of development. There are some excellent hostelries along the way, should the walk become too much for you. It doesn't matter which season you choose,...More

Unusual for a busy city to possess such a quiet walk by the river, close by the rail station, cathedral and cricket ground, features include the medieval cow tower and the old ferry site, illustrating the history of this ancient settlement very well. Well worth...More

This is a pleasant walk that makes you feel in the countryside while being so close to the city centre. Unmissable trip in any season.

Unfortunately we chose a cold February morning for this riverside walk; I am sure that it would be better in the summer! The paths are well laid out and I would be happy to explore more.

The riverside walk is definitely worth a visit whether you are a local or visiting. The walk has great variety along its length: green spaces / modern resiodential developments / heritage regeneration. There are a couple of gaps that require short detours away from the...More

This was our first visit to Norwich and we spent a few hours wandering along the riverside. The good thing about this is that it almost circles the city centre so you are not walking in a straight line away from your starting point and...More

You can park either near the Adam & Eve pub behind the cathedral or you can probably park at the Red LIon pub on Bishopsgate. Hope you can make it there, lovely at the moment with the daffodils out.
