Our family of 5 decided to eat out on a rainy night and wanted somewhere close by. What a good choice we made. We rang to book a table straight away and were sat down in lovely warm surroundings as soon as we got there. Lots of choice on the menu. I went for one of the specials, beef madras, which... More

We returned to The Trafford on a recent trip to Norwich and were as impressed as ever with the friendly service, excellent home made food great real ale and Norfolk Gin which my good lady had never tried before but is now a convert. Bar staff recommended it with orange instead of lemon or lime and it worked really well... More

What a wonderful experience I had here yesterday. Our very first visit here, and definitely will be returning again! After finding this in the Norwich spree book me and my youngest son (9) decided to go check it out. The staff were very friendly and instantly made us feel very welcome. We found a table tucked right in the corner... More

The Trafford Arms is my local and I drink in there every Friday. However we rarely use it for eating but some friends from Cheshire who were visiting Great Yarmouth ( never mind ) wanted to meet for lunch. I was not certain whether lunch meant sandwiches or a full meal, and knowing the Traff excelled at both I booked... More

Visited on different days between 7 and 13 September 2016. Great food, great beer, great atmosphere. Remains one of our favourite pubs anywhere, and if the weather is good there are seats outside. Superb.

I've lived a short 3 min walk from this place for roughly two years, having been to it once before then I never really gave it a second chance. But, having rekindled my efforts in making this my local, I can say I am more than pleased. I've been three times this month, and there were different beers on each... More

Didn't eat but the food looked good. But if you like ale you just have to visit this place. Such a great choice and served by people who know what they're doing, a pure joy!

Shame about the food! Been a user of the pub for years but very disappointed with the current food supplied. Goo looking menu, but as for the so called sandwich, well, a dried up white bun with a tad of goats cheese and some bits of green thrown in. Sausage casserole had one measly sausage within the what looked like... More

The pub is situated a short walk from Norwich town centre. We were visiting Norwich and went to the Trafford Arms for a meal. There was a good choice of food available on the menu. The food was ordered at the bar and the service to the table was very good. The food was good value and there was a... More
