Opened in 1899, the 247 foot covered avenue designed and built by architect George Skipper and today it houses a mixture of shops and restaurants.

Best shop in the city is the women’s vintage clothing shop, which is in the arcade. Beautiful part of Norwich. Clean, tidy and stunning...... Norwich is a fine city and the arcade reflects its beauty,

Walked through this arcade and was disappointed to find only expensive boutique shops. The Colman Mustard shop appeared closed permanently - presumably because Colman's no longer make mustard in Norwich!
