Situated on the Cliffside overlooking Whitby Bay this unique venue offers a range of different spaces, catering for a host of events.The Pavilion Theatre boasts an atmospheric Victorian interior, combined with the modern dance and concert hall, to play host to a number of arts and leisure activities. Stage shows, dances, major festivals/concerts, fund-raising and children's events, exhibitions and conferences, not to mention a whole range of private functions, meetings and community events.Catering facilities are available for every event from pre-theatre drinks to daytime refreshments and gala dinners. The concert room at the Pavilion resembles a large concert room in a Working Mens Club. It seats approximately 800-1000 depending on the table layout but as there are no pillars obstructing the view of the stage a good view is not hard to find....More

The pavilion is up from the beach on the ocean coast. It seems to be used for a variety of purposes, and we happen upon a Sunday afternoon free concert. But we really come for coffee and cake - of course! The eats and drinks...More

Use the cafe regularly following dog walks along the cliffs. Very dog friendly and recently discovered that soya milk is available for drinks which gave it a double thumbs up for my dog and I. Competitively priced with lovely views our to sea.
