Well preserved historic village and harbour at the end of the coast to coast walk, and just a couple of miles outside Whitby. There is no parking down in the harbour area, so it means parking at the top of the hill and walking down...More

We took the X93 bus from Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay and spent a lovely day up and down the narrow streets. It is worth the effort but could be hard going in busier and hotter months.

Lovely quaint place to visit, but extremely steep, so a good pair of flat shoes are essential. Well worth a visit, it is really pretty.

Lovely old, quaint town. Very steep walk, lots of small, unusual shops (some closed when we visited). A definite must if you are in the area.

You have to be pretty fit to see the best of Robin Hood's Bay but the climb down are back up are well worth it. The lovely little shops and cafes dotted around make it a true smuggler's haven from the past. Fantastic
