Fairfax house is is easy to get too in the city centre, it is relatively small so you wouldn't need a large amount of time to go round it. Volunteers who work there are very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed sharing the information with everyone.

The guides were nice and knew a lot, and the house was pretty. Many house museums are just doing so much more to get visitors involved that this felt a little basic.
