A lovely house situated in the centre of York, filled with history and culture. The Venus also hosts Wine Tasting and other events, which I have attended and enjoyed.

In each room we went into there was a very knowledgeable guide, who spent time walking around the room with us, giving us facts and information about the history of the furniture and family... More

We found the guides (especially Helen Hale) to be unusually well-informed and interested in sharing their... More

Have a closer look at the house and every single details of it, you'll see the lively history of lifestyle, luxury, art and leisure. Staff (the guide) all worked here for at least 5 years and they can help with your knowledge
