We should be so thankful that this stunning town house was saved for us all to enjoy. Beautiful interiors with a fine collection of furniture, including some pieces by Thomas Chippendale. The romm guides are, at least in some cases, passionate & informative. If you...More

This is a really lovely place which takes about 45-60 minutes to see. Nicely restored property and the staff have so much interesting and valuable information to share that it brings the house alive. Well worth a visit.

We spent 1 hour around this magnificent house. Quite cheap attraction. People inside the house very helpful and willing to explain the story of each room. Open ticket for 1 year which means you can go back for free whenever you want!

Designed by John Carr, this Georgian townhouse was the residence of Viscount Fairfax, a devout Catholic. The furniture came from Terry the chocolatier's collection. The staff are very knowledgeable and are on hand to answer questions. Fascinating.

Visited Fairfax House on a Monday for the guided tour, which was superb. The guide was well-informed and made it very interesting. The tour made it good value for money. The house would have been interesting on a wander-around visit I'm not sure I'd have...More
