Spent nearly all afternoon here.Very interesting exhibits and we found the staff very knowledgeable and so willing to spend time chatting about the history of the exhibits and York in general. This is a must visit and well worth the entrance fee.

Brilliant, simply brilliant. For all ages, this is a must see for anyone visiting York. The museum is mostly by easy of a street constructed as it would have been, with actual business names of the 1800s

Great capture of history. The street scenes are amazing...could have done with being a little lighter ( I know it was atmospheric, but not got great eyes, so I did struggle a little!).

This museum has everything! It is exciting and a must when in York. There is something for everyone, from the old, who may remember some of the items from first time around! and children will love the cells and toy area.
