A very enjoyable 75 minutes. The Actors were very good and although a lot of humor was introduced, it was factual too.

This was both a fun and educational experience! I would definitely recommend if you're planning on going into York. We also got a photo of me pretending to chop off my boyfriends head :)

What a great visit, even though we are not youngsters( late fifties) we had a right good laugh and were thoroughly entertained by the actors playing the various rolls on the visit. Excellent effects scenes.

We visited several attractions during our stay in York but this was our favourite. The acting was first rate and the sets very realistic. Overall it was great fun and a must for anybody wanting fun and a few scares.

Acting is brilliant, history is disturbing and interesting, you are fully immersed in the settings and the characters never allow anyone to be quiet or unnoticed. You may be punished for being a witch or take part in a torture demonstration.. just be ready and...More

I had vague memories of visiting as a child where there were wax works and a couple of actors. My return visit was nothing like this. With actors and special effects there is nothing quite like it. It has to be seen to be believed

We went and paid over £40 for three people and the whole thing was acted. We were under the impression we would see some real dungeons. Left feeling upset I'd spent so much money on something for young children.

they are strict on times as they keep you lined up until it's time to go in as a group, then they send you off more or less on time but they put you in the group of the time you've booked! The best way I found was to book... More

No its not underground. You go up when you enter and then as you go through you work your way down but the exit is still above ground. It is dark and some of the rooms are quite small so if that's an issue for her then it's... More
