Interestingly Rowntree Park, provided by the Rowntree chocolate family for the citizens of York, was built not near their own factory but near their rivals Terry's chocolate factory. What was going on there?

Very good site in the centre of York Facilities were very clean and modern Private pitches very level Staff were very pleasant and helpful

One of the many places you can go for free for a walk on the riverside, general recreation or a picnic with friends and family. Parking is free, plentiful and close by.

I love this park, a Victorian time warp!! sweeping trees, beautiful lake, i cant wait to come back.. always nice to walk on a warm winters day

I don't think this a question, more of a statement. And having used toilets in India, I doubt Rooftrees Park can hold a candle to those, you had to hold your breath while using them. Still it is not what I would expect to... More

Hi - I have never seen a barbecue being used here and there isn't a special area.
