Quite magnificent. The whole of York minster is wonderful but the rose window should be on the list of things to visit for anyone going to York as a tourist.

The rebuilding of the rose window is an incredible story and told well by the guides and exhibition. I highly recommend joining one of the tours that start at the entrance. Once you have purchased your entry ticket, the tour itself is free.

Wouldn't have been aware of it had I not taken the tour, the work that goes into something like this and it's been fully restored, wonderful building.
