Having read a negative review I can agree on some points, but in my and my wifes experience it was wonderful, and it was so nice not to have children running riot around the grounds, which were beautifully manicured, of course the highlight was the...More

I visited shortly after the princesses death 30 years ago and really enjoyed the dress collection. It was amazing. My family and I visited today and found everything very poorly signposted. There was exhibition 1 and 2. Well what a massive disappointment. Just a few...More

Having looked forward to our visit for some time now, the welcome we received, information we were given, and service we received was some of the best we have had. The lovely walk to the house, from the gates, allowed us to enjoy views of...More

We went on Sunday to Althorp house because of being interested in Princess Diana only to leave feeling very disappointed as there was hardly anything about lady diana at all. The Diana walk in her shoes display was hardly anything, just a few pictures of...More

Lovely setting, beautiful house. Thought new exhibition was pretty poor. Think would be nice to see more Diana around the house as most people do come to Althorp for Diana. Lovely day out though would recommend

Don't turn up before 12 thinking you will get a coffee before the house opens as you won't, but an enjoyable afternoon out. The guided tour was informative but would have liked a little extra time to look at objects that weren't mentioned. Lovely grounds...More

The tour is part of the entrance price & as far as I can recall there wasn't an option for the gardens only. Also be aware that Althorp doesn't open on many days during the year.
