We often visit The Derngate for comedy and this time it was downstairs at Underground. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the venue is great with top acts.

Attended the Derngate element of the complex to see Jonathan Pie. This is the main theatre and it is really lovely. Clean. Comfortable seating and helpful volunteers to assist in navigation. Toilets are accessible and clean and there are lots of staff to help with...More

Came here to see a comedian, venue is a nice size with comfortable seating that isn’t cramped. All staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s also in a great location.

Royal & Derngate Theatre was the venue for my granddaughters Music Concert 2018. The Theatre has everything for a good night out which includes good refreshments, comfortable seating and accommodates for wheelchairs.

Brilliant venue..lots of parking and easily accessible.. good sound in the venue and seating is fantastic, good views all round and not too large so perfect for toilet and bar breaks as queues go down quickly

You can eat before the show and bring in snacks and drinks from the bar to shows.
