Extremely knowledgeable and humorous Guide, and an easy pleasant walk around the City. If your a little claustrophobic the visit to the cellars under the Royal Children Pub may be a challenge, but well worth it. We booked on line, you can also pay on the day. Comfortable shoes needed. NB: We booked this after first doing the Magic Lantern... More

A guide who is passionate about history, Nottingham, the environment and who was above all great fun to listen to! Engaged with his group (both young and old). An absolute must for anyone visiting Nottingham.

Robin Hood does an excellent job of sharing his knowledge about Nottingham. Totally enjoyed his ability to include all of us in his story telling. Robin Hood has a keen knowledge of history, as he should, and the amount of information he shared has left me wanting to learn more. At the end of the tour he shared a pint... More

If you are a school teacher looking for an exciting, awe and wonder outing for your class this is the way to do it. A friendly, personalised booking process and a tour through Sherwood Forest with Robin Hood himself accompanied by Little John, Maid Marion and Friar Tuck! The children (aged 5-7) were mesmerised by stories, songs, action and clear... More

This is my second trip advisor review - normally I am not that interested in reviewing, but this was just too good of an experience not to review. I expected this to be fun, especially for my 9 year old. What I did not expect was to meet an historian who really knew and cared about the area, the legend,... More

Wit, knowledge and a passion for history. A very convincing Robin Hood in character and values. We learned a lot about the Robin Hood legend through the ages and also the background to Nottingham.. industries and architecture included. Far more than we hoped for. Golly what a day!

There are no other places in Nottingham we could find which explain the Robin Hood legend. I could not believe how easy it was to get on this tour. I thought it would be very popular and we would miss out unless we prebooked. A phone call confirmed that we could just rock up to the Cross Keys and hand... More

I arranged a stag do in Nottingham and the majority of us had not been to Nottingham before. So what better way to learn about the city, Robin Hood and where the best pubs are than to do a tour. We were not disappointed! We started at the Cross Keys pub and then walked round the streets of Nottingham learning... More
