Went to the Royal Concert Hall to see Anderson, Rabin and Wakeman (ARW) in concert. The building is a modern design of glass and metal and looks nice. Inside there are several bars on the different levels for you to have a drink before you go in. The hall its self has three levels, stalls, tier one and tier two.... More

Visited the Royal Concert Hall for a night of Yes songs performed by Anderson, Rabin, and Wakeman. Despite the venue being sold out and very busy, no delay at the bars, no huge queue's at toilets, easy access all round and a good view of the stage. First visit to this venue and hopefully not my last. Will certainly keep... More

The Royal center is the name given to the Nottingham Theatre Royal and the Nottingham Concert Hall as they are joined together. Many great productions are shown here and almost every UK touring production will perform at one of the two buildings. The Theatre Royal is Nottingham's 'traditional' theatre and has an attractive, atmospheric auditorium. I did not have any... More

Enjoyed this production on 15th March. Excellent, comfortable seats just two rows from the orchestra in the Concert Hall. I am not really a ballet aficionado and usually go for my Wife's sake and this was the fourth time for Swan Lake. This was definitely my favourite production and I have seen Matthew Bourne's version. Excellent performances by the Jester... More

before the show we had a bite to eat at the theater. On the first floor there's a little restaurant. I would advise to book. We have eaten here before and we like it. I had the soup to start followed by pork with black pudding. TOh had the pate followed by the salmon. Before the show started we ordered... More

Lovely theatre with spacious bar areas and plentiful ladies' toilets. Staff are helpful and courteous and there seems to be a good supply of interval refreshments. The production we saw was superb and the theatre has many good dance productions scheduled. Overall very much worth a visit. Try the Phoenix park and ride if coming from Sheffield. The tram drops... Visited to see Paul Carrack last week and it was excellent! This is the first time I have seen him and thoroughly enjoyed it! Concert Hall acoustics are superb, crystal clear. Nice modern environment, and helpful staff. Nice G&T too - a bit pricey though. Parking was a bit problematic so allow plenty of time particularly at weekends. Great night... More

We've been here many times before but I've never thought about how special the building itself is. We were watching a ballet (The Red Shoes) but have seen singers, groups and plays here and loved the atmosphere every time. The building is very grand and no matter where your seats are the view has always been clear for us. The... More

Superb show only let down by venue. Way too hot, tiny seats and issue with tickets not being received through the post. Having chased tickets up was told would have to collect a reprint on the night. On arrival at the collection desk was told tickets had been posted. Poor customer service.

We had tickets for a matinee performance, so decided to eat at the theatre restaurant. A huge disappointment, wrong order materialised, cold portions and over priced. Feedback was given and the overall bill was reduced but our preference would have been to enjoy a relaxing meal prior to the show,(which was great). Eat in the local surrounding area would be... Hi Falfield, Sorry to hear that you didn’t have a great time at the restaurant. I’ve passed on your comments to the restaurant management team.
