Love going here. My wife and I visit regularly for plays, musicals and stand up comedy. Probably once every month or two. Consistently high standards of production and friendly staff. Can’t recall a bad performance in 17 years of visiting. Jimmy Carr was too quiet...More

We booked to see a show "Son of a Preacher Man" (highly recommended) at the Theatre Royal so decided to eat in their "restaurant" beforehand. The "restaurant" consisted of about half a dozen tables in a corner by the bar. This made us feel a...More

This musical is very confusing, my friend and I go to the theatre at least once a month. We were very disappointed this time. As we thought it was about the life of Dusty Springfield. We got to the interval and both said, "What's it...More

What a fantastic show. Vibrant and energetic. Vincent and Flavia were brilliant. They haven't list any of their magic. A wonderful group of dancers and singers. The music was great and the violinist superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. A fantastic show in a fantastic...More

Depends on the day and time. Mattines no one gets dressed up for. Anything else for an opera I’d say jeans wouldn’t be appropriate but no need to act like it’s the royal opera in London.
