Went here to find it closed. Only open at weekends and on bank holidays. However it is next door to Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, so we visited there instead.

The cost is £2.50 or free with a Nottingham Castle entrance ticket, and this museum is worth every penny! It's like a TARDIS in that it looks relatively small from the outside, but that is deceiving! It is huge! Well worth a mooch!

Fantastic hands on exhibition. Friendly informative staff. Brought back so many memories. A hidden jewel which fascinated my children who couldn't believe how things used to be and their grandma who remembered so many of the items. Must see!!!
