Made a last minute decision to visit this theatre and we're so glad we did. The painted ceiling is fabulous and after a not too strenuous climb up to the cupola we enjoyed the stunning views over Oxford. Lots of information on the building upstairs....More

Excellent value for money (£3 approx). The theatre itself is lovely with a beautiful painted ceiling, but for me the highlight of the visit was the spectacular view over Oxford from the cupola; definitely worth the climb.

Beautiful building, well maintained. Stairs a challenge, but worth it. We had a great time and felt honoured to be in there.

We have experienced concerts in many chapels and Holywell Concert Hall each having its own pluses. The acoustics were good at this venue; however, with the high heat this summer, it was very warm during our evening concert. I am short and the benches high...More
