Often walk my dogs along the Isis sometimes calling into the nearby pub . The lock is well maintained with great flower beds and is an ideal crossing point for the circular walk I do

As live-aboard boaters we obviously see many locks. Iffley is well maintained, pretty and the lock keeper is friendly and knowledgeable and moorings are good. A lovely place to visit either by boat or just to enjoy.

Always worth a look, this is a very nice lock, well presented and has a very large amount of bird life, which is friendly and interesting to watch. A great place to feed the ducks and swans.
