Went to a conference there venue really lovely but in Nov and in the rain it was very very cold and damp. Staff were very good but it was overshadowed by howling wind and a damp feeling . Food ok coffee stewed

Built in the late twenties in the colonial (of course) style as the home of the Rhodes Trust, many notable scholars have passed through these doors. Einstein gave three lectures here.

I went for a wedding this September. The building is incredible and a very subtle mix of styles. The gardens are lovely and we'll planted. Catering was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Recommended.

Having snuck in here as an Oxford Science undergraduate over 30 years ago, what an absolute delight to visit this recently for a one day workshop. If you are not inspired to think differently or "give of your best" in this environment, you deserve to...More

Lovely historic building with amazing mural on the ceiling. Well worth a detour to see this. The same Rhodes who funded the Rhodes Scholarships was the person who provided the funds for this. Its a wonderful example of work of the period.

Chalked for of more modern history. Historians say it is the place where Albert Einstein first lectured on this theory of relativity. The House has three main rooms in it and gives one a reminder of the value of leaving a legacy.

Rhodes House can be hired as a venue and the place, furniture, garsens and overall ambience is perfect for quality meetings/weddings/any other. It feels like you are in a grand home...rather than other much grand venues where you are restrained to one or two rooms...More
