Would confess to a little bias as my step son was here. It is a wonderful place and the architecture is lovely. Immaculate grounds and free in the afternoon as well. Worth the detour.

I can thoroughly recommend a visit here. This college has one of the most picturesque quads, stunning buildings, lovely herbaceous borders and a great chapel.

First, you think there is only another quad, but they have lovely grounds that have a lake and the gardens are absolutely beautifully done. Walk out to the Nazrin Shah centre and sit on the steps and watch the cricket practice. Walk around the lake...More

Gorgeous 13th-century cottages, and 1700 buildings, with a chapel designed by William Burgess. The grounds are fantastic, with unrivalled displays compared to other colleges.

Worcester permits you to visit their gardens without fee. Beautiful property and enjoyed walk around the pond.

This College is set on the western side of the city, and is well worth paying the fee to visit. The grounds are more extensive than with most colleges.

Free admission. The college chapel was particularly impressive, with its Nineteenth century redesigns. Lovely mosaics and stained glass. The overall ambience of the college grounds was good too, especially since the College is slightly off the beaten track, and less busy than others.

Worcester College permits visitors free of charge to explore their very beautiful gardens. My husband and I were envious of the students who have this tranquil oasis in which to pursue studies.

This college is free to visit and a pleasant place to wander in its extensive grounds. The college was founded in 1714 but there are buildings from the 16th century from it's predecessor Gloucester College. The small chapel is delightful with a marble mosaic floor...More

Well worth a visit just to see the main lawn - it is a work of art! The older parts of the college are quite beautiful and fascinating. The gardens are impressive

Not sure. Hotel prices in Oxford are expensive. Possible to stay in some of the colleges out of term time.
