It was free to look around today between 2 and 4 (but I don't think groups were allowed). You need to ask the porter (on the right when you go in) for permission to visit. You are just allowed in the quad and garden, not...More

I am not sure why a number of other Oxford colleges charge admission whilst Worcester, which has the most beautiful grounds offers free entry. A fascinating blends of architectural styles make up the quadrangle, and the walk past the lack to the sports ground is...More

Oxford is the town of my birth and I have visited almost all of the Colleges that make up the University, this one is my all time favourite. Its not very big, the grounds are amazing and beautifully kept and the small chapel will leave...More

A hidden gem. Free to enter and well worth it. Amazing spiral staircase up to the library and a gorgeous little chapel.

Visited Worcester college having just left the Ashmolean Museum a couple of hundred yards away. Entrance is free which is always a bonus. The grounds so typical of colleges in Oxford were immaculate. The grassed quad just inside the entrance overlooked by a row of...More

The grounds, by the canal, are some of the most beautiful of any Oxford College. They include a cricket pitch. The Chapel pews have extraordinary carvings of real and mythical animals. Just down Beaumont street from the Ashmolean Museum.

This is a really beautiful college with extensive grounds leading down to the river. When I visited it was a real picture with the Spring flowers out in great numbers around the base of trees and in large clumps on the grass. It is well...More

One of the "newer" colleges and therefore situated just outside the central area of Oxford. It benefits from extensive grounds bordering on the river and also a lake. As usual everything is beautifully manicured but the size leads to a lack of intimacy and friendliness...More

Worcester college was founded in 1714 and is part of the university of Oxford. Within the grounds of the college are its own sports grounds and a large garden area. There is also a must see chapel.

Loved this college founded in 1741. It has a beautiful garden, Chapel, and Hall. The Sainsbury building is interesting but the cottages were fabulous. Alum of note are Rupert Murdoch, US Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, And Emma Watson.
