I visited Worcester College on a hot April day. It undoubtedly has the finest gardens of any college in Oxford or Cambridge with a wonderful lake, beutiful gardens and a perfect lawn in the main quadrangle. The main buildings date from the eighteenth century but...More

Worcester is full of surprises. It is rather like the scene from the 'Wizard of Oz'- when Dorothy opens the door after the tornado has passed and suddenly the black and white screen segues into color. Small dark, cramped passage -ways lead into broad sunlit...More

This is a stunning college and very accessible. Had coffee and cake in the dining room which was full of character. The college and grounds were amazing and it was the highlight of our trip to Oxford

Would confess to a little bias as my step son was here. It is a wonderful place and the architecture is lovely. Immaculate grounds and free in the afternoon as well. Worth the detour.

I can thoroughly recommend a visit here. This college has one of the most picturesque quads, stunning buildings, lovely herbaceous borders and a great chapel.

First, you think there is only another quad, but they have lovely grounds that have a lake and the gardens are absolutely beautifully done. Walk out to the Nazrin Shah centre and sit on the steps and watch the cricket practice. Walk around the lake...More

Gorgeous 13th-century cottages, and 1700 buildings, with a chapel designed by William Burgess. The grounds are fantastic, with unrivalled displays compared to other colleges.

Worcester permits you to visit their gardens without fee. Beautiful property and enjoyed walk around the pond.

This College is set on the western side of the city, and is well worth paying the fee to visit. The grounds are more extensive than with most colleges.

Not sure. Hotel prices in Oxford are expensive. Possible to stay in some of the colleges out of term time.
