Worth the short walk

Not the easiest of colleges to find but well worth the effort; the lake is a delight and the ancient quads quaint

Worcester College is open to the public between 2 and 4 in the afternoon. It is a lovely place with well kept gardens and lawns. There is currently some building work going on but the main quad remains as impressive as ever. Well worth a visit.

Well worth a visit and a walk by the lake. The magnolias are magnificent when they are in bloom, and you won't be too crowded as it is not on the High St.

This is one of the colleges that can be visited without a charge and its really worth taking a look. Even though there is constructions going on there, the college is just lovely, especially the garden area and the little lake. Absolutely loved it!

Well-kept gardens stretching down to the river, and a stunning chapel, if you are up for High Victorian!

This college is open to the public free of charge every afternoon unless there is an event on. You can walk in peace around the beautiful grounds and lake. It is handy for the main coach station which has toilets and cafes. Worcester is a hidden gem.

A lovely college part of Oxford's 37. The campus has prize winning gardens and a beautiful lake running through. Worth taking a walk around.

Worcester is not as grand as other colleges and does not charge admission so it is not visited so much however although the entrance is very understated once inside you can get a much better idea of how lovely this place is. The grass in the quad is worthwhile seeing on its own. Do not miss the lovely chapel especially... More

Wonderful park and lake hidden in the heart of Oxford. Some lovely old buildings (and not so nice modern ones!)
