I visited this place with my father earlier today and one adult and a senior citizen was only £6.50! The building is packed fully of aircraft and aviation history and is well worth a visit. The Fairey Aviation Jet Gyrodyne is the jewel in the collection as it is the only one in the world.

This Museum is great for all of the family with its displays of all kinds of aviation throughout the years. We took a group of young children on a cubs visit and they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a rainy Sunday. Lots to see in a little area. Staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Well recommended. Take cash as they don't have a card machine.

Really nice museum. Lots to see. Good parking. Not kid friendly though. Very rude towards enthusiastic children

It is small place but it is worth a visit adults or children. All will love this. There is a small place which you can pay £1 to ride. The volunteers are very helpful. Don't forget to see the bigger plane parked outside and you can see inside with cockpit.

It was good to see the old planes in this museum. One planes was the one I first flew in after the war. Not sure it was yellow. The Handley Pge Herald built in woodley was worked on by my mother and my sisters worked in the offices. The volunteers there were very helpfull. I was surorised how many exhibits... More

Remember Douglas Bader flew from Woodley and think the the museum is possibly the only aeronautical vestige remaining from the WW2. For its size it is crammed with varying vintage aeroplanes and associated exhibits. The exhibits are well catalogued, and although the opening hours are dependent on availability of the volunteers it is worthwhile visiting with a young family especially... More

Besides of the planes, lots of interesting texts to read, brilliant photographs, amazing old objects to see and read about. It's not a big museum, but it's loaded! It was fun to go inside the plane outside, though we couldn't understandably go inside the cockpit. Our 6 year old boy was impressed and us too!

Cheap entry fee, and a horde of information. That said, this museum is probably best reserved for true plane enthusiasts.

Visited with our young boys. Quite a lot of planes and helicopters packed into a small space as well as models and lots of photos and interesting artefacts. Kids loved the big plane they could go inside. This didn't take long but you could spend longer if you read everything. Nice staff and very cheap. Would recommend it for 1-2... More
