Excellent museum with so much crammed into one hanger and far more things of interest than expected, even including parts of a Polaris nuclear missile and a WW2 German bomb. Amazing to learn that the site was once Woodley Airfield and the home to a...More

We stopped in today by chance as we were already in Woodley. Very helpful staff (all volunteers) and interesting exhibits. Good if you're interested in the history of the airfield or planes.

Packed with aircraft, models and memorabilia dating from the time when aircraft were built on what is now a housing estate. Plenty of history, and worth visiting a second time to discover those items you missed. Great if you visit when the volunteer aircraft restorers...More

The museum is just outside of Bracknell and not far from the M3 so is easy to find and well sign posted. Lost of parking nearby seems to be shared with people on the near by nature trails. The entrance seems very new and has...More

Great little musuem run by an enthusiastic team of volunteers who can answer everything about the aircraft and local history of Woodley airfield. Adults and kids alike thoroughly enjoyed the hands on exhibits and going on board the BEA plane, helicopter and little trainer jet!
